Privacy

Privacy policy.

This policy explains what Chutly collects to run accounts, redirects, routing, and analytics.

Information you provide

When you sign up, Chutly collects your email address, Telegram username, password hash, account status, and verification details.

When you create links, Chutly stores link names, slugs, default destinations, routing rules, and related settings.

Redirect and analytics data

When someone opens a Chutly link, Chutly may process IP address, user agent, device type, approximate location, route matched, destination URL, and click time.

This data is used for routing, bot filtering, abuse prevention, and link insights.

Local GeoIP lookup

Chutly can use a local MaxMind GeoLite2 database for location lookup. This keeps routing fast and avoids waiting on a third-party geolocation API during redirects.

Location results are approximate and may not always be exact.

How data is used

Chutly uses data to operate accounts, redirect visitors, show analytics, detect abuse, improve reliability, and communicate about support or security.

Chutly does not need to sell personal data to make the routing product work.

Contact and removal

For privacy questions or data requests, contact support@chutly.app. For harmful links, use the abuse report page.
